TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT A 50%, non-refundable deposit is required up front for all orders of £20 or more.

WEDDING DEPOSIT A 50%, non-refundable deposit is required for wedding cake orders. The outstanding balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the wedding date. If the final balance for your wedding cake is not received by this time, I will not be able to fulfil the order.

CAKE STAND HIRE Stands can be hired for weddings for £15 with a £30 deposit which will be refunded once the stand is returned, undamaged within 7 days of the wedding.

FINAL PAYMENT The balance for any order must be received before or on delivery / collection. I accept cash, mobile or online payments. I do not accept cheques. A receipt can be provided on request.

NON-EDIBLE ITEMS Some of my cake decorations may not be edible. Where this is the case, I will let you know. It is your responsibility or that of your catering / venue staff to ensure they are removed before serving the cake to your party.

ALLERGENS I work hard to ensure there is no cross-contamination of allergen containing ingredients. However, as all cakes are prepared in the same facility, cakes may contain small traces of gluten or nuts.

VISUALS I will always do my best to ensure that the designs we’ve agreed are the designs that are delivered. However, as my cakes are made and decorated by hand and not by robots, some differences may occur.

CHANGES Changes to any order must be made at least 7 days before the collection / delivery date. Some changes may result in an additional charge.

CANCELLATIONS With any cancellation, charges may be payable where items have been ordered in specifically for you or for any work already undertaken. If a wedding cake is cancelled within 3 weeks of the wedding date, the full balance will still be payable.

LIABILITY Once Elvis (or your cake) has left the building or my vehicle, I cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur after this time.

For any collections, I will need a photograph and signature from the person collecting to confirm they are happy with the cake and its condition. Any damages that may occur after this point will not be my responsibility.

STORAGE AND HANDLING In order to maintain the condition of the cake during storage and display, it is important that you handle it/them with care:

a.    Always keep out of direct sunlight, spotlights and away from candles

b.    Where possible, store in a cool place

c. Secure the cake box when transporting to prevent movement
